If there is one thing that hasn't been totally destroyed by the earth quake in Kaiapoi its Woodford Glen and the un matched bogan enthusiasm shown by its supporters. These photos are taken at the annual boxing day demolition derby. Unfortunately i didn't take any photos of the derby worth showing due to the rain and the shit lighting that The glen has. I would have also loved to take lots of photos of the families that found it appropriate to attend a demolition derby on boxing day but due to the fear of getting smacked in the face and having my camera stolen these photos also were not taken. Imagine the crowd that would attend a free ACDC concert with Eminem playing support and your getting kind of close to imagining the atmosphere at The glen. In saying this it is great entertainment weather it be the cars in the car park, the people there of the actual races.
